A. REGISTRATION
2. In which category should I register?
The 3rd MSC registration categories are divided as follow:
Early Bird Category (2 Days) – before 24 September 2024
- Students – RM 250 / USD 70
- Professionals – RM 500 / USD 140
Normal Rate Category (2 Days) – 24 September 2024 onwards
- Students – RM 300 / USD 90
- Professionals – RM 600 / USD 160
One Day Package:
- Students – RM 200 / USD 60
- Professionals – RM 350 / USD 100
Note:
- MACR members are entitled for a RM 50 rebate. Click here for more details on how to join MACR as a member.
- A verified copy of the student card is required for the students’ category.
- Fees for two-day package are inclusive of Gala Dinner on the 19th November 2024.

3. How can I pay my registration fee?

4. How do I know that I have successfully registered?
Upon verification of your payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email account.
5. When is the registration deadline?
24th September 2024 – Early Bird Registration Deadline
19th – 20th November 2024 – Conference Dates
6. How do I apply for the visa? How do I obtain an invitation letter?
International participants who require a visa to enter Malaysia will be issued an invitation letter by the secretariat upon request. Please address this request to secretariat@macr-cancer.org.
Please note that an invitation letter will only be issued to those participants who have paid registration fee in full.
7. How do I get the receipt for my payment?
An electronic receipt will be issued once the payment has been verified. This receipt will then be sent to your registered email address.
B. ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
2. When is the deadline for abstract submission and notification of abstract acceptance?
2nd September 2024 – Abstract Submission Deadline
16th September 2024 – Notification of Abstract Acceptance
3. How many abstracts am I allowed to submit?
An author can only submit one abstract as first author. Nevertheless, he/she could be as co-author in other abstracts.
4. Will my abstract be published?
All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings of the 3rd MACR Scientific Conference, preconditioned that the first author of the abstract has registered and paid the registration fee.
C. PRESENTATIONS
2. Why am I not in my preferred presentation category?
The author may state preference for the type of presentation (oral or poster) and the conference track. The final decision however lies upon the Scientific Committees and is also due to the settings of the Scientific Programme.
D. MISCELLANEOUS
2. Do I get Certificate of Attendance for this event?
Yes, an electronic certificate will be issued when you fulfil the following criteria.
- Your attendance is recorded during the conference
- You have completed the Feedback Form and submitted at the end of the conference.
